December Reflection

Within December, I aimed to complete my research from November, with finishing off research and starting primary research, however I wasn't able to finish this.


Unfortunately, due to the vast amount of coursework and revision I had to complete for mock exams, I was unable to finalise my research and start planning my dissertation, so I aim to complete these within January, by:
- Finalise research (look at books on topic at library)
- Look at more academic research on the topic
- Finish research on the topic and start to plan dissertation
- Continue planning dissertation

November Reflection

This November, I struggled to keep up with my timeline, however managed to keep up with a majority of the research each week, with additional research in some areas.

This month, I decided to look into these topics, and have put a star (*) next to the ones that I am currently working on or have completed, and an exclamation point (!) next to the tasks that still need to be completed.

•  Look into 'Poems from Other Cultures' studied previously on the AQA specification and research why it was cancelled (*)
•  Look at the authors used within the education system (!)
•  Conduct primary research on people's knowledge of culture within the UK (questionnaire) (!)
•  Email an exam board on the chosen topic (*)

I decided to carry the primary research into December because I felt that I needed to carry out more secondary research first to ensure that the questions I ask in my questionnaire are relevant and time effective.

I think that within November I have completed additional research that was not included within my timeline, however it will help me back up points with strong evidence within my dissertation.

I need to ensure that I complete the tasks on my timeline within December, and aim to finish my secondary research within January.
